The Hertz DBA 201 F active subwoofer boasts an exceptionally flat design that makes it a seamless addition to any car interior. However, its compact design belies its true power. The DBA 201 F's flat closed subwoofer enclosure is optimized using FEM simulation to deliver superior performance while maximizing subwoofer output. The massive magnet of the 8-inch driver provides optimal control at the highest diaphragm deflection. The power is taken care of by an integrated class D amplifier with an output of 220 W RMS. There is also a control panel with a lot of functions. The built-in low-pass filter with a variable frequency of 50÷150 Hz allows you to perfectly match the subwoofer with your speaker system. Adjustable bass boost (0÷6 dB @ 45Hz) can add bass output according to your preference, allowing correction for OEM sound equalization. With the phase shifter (0-180°) you can optimize the phase alignment between the DBA 201 F and your speaker system regardless of the position of the subwoofer in the car. The subsonic filter protects the membrane from overload and the amplifiers from overheating.
