• The DVR-C310S records in 1080p Full HD resolution at 30 frames per second and is equipped with a CMOS image sensor for great recording quality even at night. This allows you to record important details, such as vehicle number plates, so that you have solid evidence of the facts, e.g. in court. GPS geo-information and driving speed are also recorded.
• As soon as you enter the vehicle and start the engine, the dash cam will automatically start recording. Recorded videos are saved in one-minute segments using an auto-repeat mechanism. In the event of an accident, the Active Impact Monitoring System automatically saves video data ten seconds before and after the collision recorded by the 3-axis G-Sensor. The DVR-C310S comes with a 16GB micro SD card.
• The DVR-C310S includes a parking mode that keeps your car under surveillance even at night. If you see any collision with another car, bike, etc., the camera will save this video and you can view it later to find out and prove what happened. The camera will notify you in the morning of all recorded incidents during the night.
• Using GPS data from the included GPS antenna, the DVR-C310S can accurately determine the location of the vehicle and the route based on the driving speed on the map. GPS helps you accurately assess the accident situation by providing you with the vehicle's speed, the direction of the collision, and the severity of the impact. The GPS location can be displayed on a digital map in the Dash Cam Viewer.
• The intuitive and easy-to-use interface of Alpine Dash Cam Viewer for PC and MAC makes it easy to view recorded videos. Play and download recorded videos along with route history and speed log and see if any videos have been tagged by the camera with another car crash recorded (parking mode). You can also change the dash cam settings or format the memory card.
• Download "ALPINE Recording Viewer" from Apple App Store or Google Play to check, download or delete recordings. You can also see a live view of the dash cam (very convenient when installing and setting up the camera) on your smartphone. Your phone will connect to the Dash Cam using WiFi technology.
• Alpine offers an optional rear camera (RVC-C310) that simultaneously records traffic through the rear window. This gives you an extra layer of security while driving and in parking monitoring mode. A 6.4 m connecting cable is included. If you need more data storage, get a 64GB micro SD card (DVM-64SD).
