Installation kit for Alpine INE-W987D for BMW 1 series cars with manual air conditioning (E81, E82, E87, E88) (2004 -> 2013).
With the KIT-7BM1M, you can maintain and improve control from the car's steering wheel, keep the parking sensors and warning sounds. It will also add a new experience when parking and operating the air conditioner. While cars equipped with a navigation system from the factory have an optical representation of the parking sensors, you will not find them in cars that are equipped with a standard radio. The KIT-7BM1M converts the parking sensors to the Alpine INE-W987D so that you have a visual representation of the parking sensors. When operating air conditioning, heating or ventilation, there will be a visual display on the INE-W987D screen. This feature is common in many vehicles, but not in the BMW with the KIT-7BM1M used. The level of visual display depends on the available data in the vehicle and the type of climate control. This interface is intended for cars with manual air conditioning. It will support remote control on the steering wheel with SIRI support. Parking sensors and warning sounds are also supported. Antenna adapter and DAB antenna KAE-232DA are included in the package.
