The new generation of Alpine S Series amplifiers are designed to take your car audio experience to the next level without breaking the bank. With a sleek new design and improved features over their predecessors, these amps offer exceptional performance and power at an affordable price. The S2-A36F 4 Channel S Series Amplifier delivers 60W RMS @ 4 Ohms or 90W RMS @ 2 Ohms of pristine high-fidelity signal to each of your car's front and rear speakers, giving your car a nice and clear sound. The amplifier will bring your music to life as it is certified for Hi-Res Audio and with a frequency response of up to 40kHz will clearly reveal its precise details and emotional power. In a three-channel two-way system, you can also use the amplifier to power a pair of front speakers with 60W RMS each, while simultaneously powering a subwoofer with 180W RMS from the bridged rear channels. Variable mid-bass boost on these rear channels lets you dial in the extra punch and punch of your system's low-frequency sound. You can even add the optional RUX-KNOB2 wired remote and control the level of the rear channels from the front seat. High-pass and low-pass filters allow you to control the frequency spectrum that reaches the speakers and subwoofers. The amp includes preamp and speaker level inputs, so you can install it in almost any vehicle, even one with a factory radio. When using speaker-level inputs, the amplifier can recognize the incoming signal and turn itself on, eliminating the need to route a separate power-on wire to the receiver or fuse box.
