Big power, small size
Pioneer's new ultra-efficient Class D digital amplifiers represent a dramatic improvement in output power capability, yet are 50% smaller than GM's current Class AB amplifiers. This makes them more versatile in terms of installation and performance.
Improved circuit design
To prevent the circuit from shutting down, Pioneer's new Digital Amplifier "Protection Control System" circuit senses its internal temperature and automatically adjusts the input level accordingly. Stable and rugged circuitry reduces the risk of high input power to the unit to achieve a 1 Ω connection. This design increases the flexibility of connecting multiple subwoofers to a system.
Variable filters with low (LPF) and high (HPF) passes
For greater flexibility, the variable LPF and HPF allow for more adjustable sound frequency according to the characteristics of the subwoofer and personal listening preferences. The LPF and HPF filters are adjustable from 40 Hz to 500 Hz.
Speaker level inputs
