Give your system the support it needs. Powering the AudioControl line drivers boosts the preamplifier signal up to 24dB, providing better dynamic range and a quiet, noise-free signal. Ideal for running long cables from the front to the rear of the vehicle. AudioControl created the six-channel Matrix Plus driver with the goal of making your car sound better. Modern car stereos boast many features, but in many cases rather low preamplifier outputs, especially at low levels. Turn the stereo up to normal volume, send the signal through several meters of cable, and your amplifiers can end up with a very weak audio signal, resulting in poor sound quality. Featuring 24dB of gain, the Matrix Plus line driver can boost the preamp signal level up to 9.5V RMS/13V peak. When integrating multimedia or controlling amplifiers, Matrix Plus gives your system a boost. With multiple sources such as video, the Matrix Plus level corresponds to different volume levels, making switching between them seamless. An internal Matrix interconnect system will allow two input channels to drive all six outputs, and each output can drive up to seven amplifiers. The Matrix Plus line controller features an optional on-board control input that makes it easy to control preamplifier signal levels remotely.
