The AF amplifiers are designed to complement the powerful amplification channels of the AF bit processor amplifiers. A plug-and-play input signal bundle is included, making it easy to connect to AF bit amplifiers. AF companion amplifiers are also ideal for use with systems controlled and managed by a separate bit processor such as the One HD Virtuoso bit. AF companions have a "straight-wire" architecture, without analog preamplifier functions such as crossover filtering, and are intended for use with external processors. The AF M4D boasts four high-fidelity amplified channels of 90W x 4 @4Ω*, 150W x 4 @2Ω* with the audiophile sound of the latest generation of Audison D-Class technology. Higher switching frequency, steeper filtering and higher tolerance components deliver sound beyond Class D expectations - in an amazingly compact package! The sound band is extended up to 40 kHz and thus receives the prestigious High-Resolution certification. The result of bridging a pair of channels is 300W x 2 @4Ω*, which guarantees flexible and powerful performance. *Output continuous power (RMS) @14.4 VDC, 1% THD, all channels controlled.
