Audison C2O converter
The C2O interface can convert signals coming from the coaxial digital input and from the analog AUX-IN to a TOSLINK optical digital output signal (up to 24 bits / 192 kHz). The conversion allows the integration of new Hi-Res portable devices equipped with coaxial digital output (75 Ω) and smartphones with analog output to 3.5 mm mini Jack with Audison processors with an optical digital input compatible with the resolution of the signal sent to the C20. Due to its extreme compactness, the C20 can be installed in a hidden position on the dashboard, which significantly reduces the length of cabling between the portable player and the receiving device, eliminating all connection problems.Audison C2O converter key features
- The coaxial digital input is equipped with an isolation transformer, which improves the balance between the transmitter and the receiver circuit and reduces the noise caused by electromagnetic interference EMI, which is particularly insidious inside the passenger compartment.
- The AUX-IN input is equipped with a pre-amplifier with an adjustable gain of 0.1 V ÷ 2 V for optimal connection with each device before the analog-to-digital conversion is carried out by a high-quality 24-bit / 48 kHz converter.
- For ease of use in cars, C2O independently selects the input with priority assigned to AUX-IN. By default, C2O will switch to coaxial digital input after 6 seconds of no analog signal. An internal switch allows you to set the time to 9 or 12 seconds.
