Audison SPM4 mixer

Stereo passive mixer (unpowered) with 4 input channels and 2 output channels, designed for active OEM systems where each speaker is powered by one specific amplified channel. The SPM4 mixes the sound through 4 audio transformers specially developed to achieve very low distortion and a highly linear acoustic response. The SPM4 offers the ability to mix mid/bass and tweeter channels driven from an amplifier and feed a single mid-treble channel. Ch1 (L/R) channels have two inputs, one of which has an inverting input compared to Ch2 (L/R); the mixing process often gives better results when one of the two channels undergoes 180° grading. The SPM4 is particularly recommended to expand the number of inputs of Audison digital processors or amplifiers with built-in DSP, as they are equipped with a De-equalizer (De-Eq). In this case, any non-linear acoustic emissions caused by the mixing of pre-existing filtered channels are properly compensated.
