Unlike other products on the market, the revolutionary new Sateen 2.0 formula creates a durable coating that adheres and hardens to the tire surface so that it is dry to the touch in minutes. Sateen 2.0 does not suffer from subsequent soiling of the bodywork, the so-called black greasy dots behind the wheel. The antistatic properties of Sateen 2.0 perfectly repel dust, dirt and water and become a new active layer on the surface of the tire. Sateen 2.0 is water-based, providing a long-lasting UV protective layer on tires and rubber that lasts weeks, not days! After applying one layer, the surface of the tire remains beautifully satin and becomes resistant to water, oil and dirt. Layering more layers increases the level of gloss. For a long-lasting wet look, apply 2 to 3 coats, 15 minutes apart.

Application, consumption and comparison with competitors

Before applying the product, wash the tires - ideally with a tire cleaner or APC cleaner, using a sponge. Then apply a very small amount using a foam applicator to the side of the tires and spread. Just apply a really minimal amount and rub it in thoroughly. The consumption is very low, we used about 10 ml for four low-profile 19-inch tires, so the product will last you for about 20 to 30 applications, but of course it depends on the type of tire. If you apply 2 to 3 layers, the resulting effect will be more shiny (apply the layers every 15 minutes). After applying Carbon Collective Sateen Rubber & Tire Protectant 2.0, the tires have a satin black color, repel water and dirt, the effect lasts 3-4 weeks depending on the frequency of washing and rain. Compared to the Dodo Juice Tyromania wax, Sateen is slightly blacker, slightly glossier, more satiny if you like, Tyromania is downright matte and easier to apply because it's runny. We recommend both products, the choice is more about your preferences.
