Clay

We use Clay for deep cleaning of paintwork from flying rust, brake dust, asphalt, oxidation, insects and other impurities. We use it before waxing the paint or applying other protection. We divide clay according to their hardness into hard, medium hard and soft. It is true that the harder the clay is, the more effective it is. At the same time, however, it is more dangerous for the paint, and mainly with hard clays, the risk of slight scratching of the paint is possible. Although these are usually only micro-scratches, it is advisable to polish the varnish after claying. For that reason too, we recommend using rather soft and medium-hard clays. When working with clay, always use a lubricant that moistens the surface and prevents the paint from being scratched. You can learn more about clay and its use in our article " how to wax a car ".
