Sometimes it can happen that the skin is stained with instant glue due to careless handling. In most cases, these stains cannot be removed even with a quick reaction. Common cleaning products will only enlarge the area affected by the glue and at the same time damage the surface treatment of the leather. With Sekundenkleber-Entferner you can safely remove these stains completely or with minimal consequences. The remover is only intended for non-absorbent leather, leather and plastics!Instructions for use of Colourlock Sekundenkleber Entferner
- Before using the product, make sure with a simple test that your leather upholstery is made of surface-corrected leather (so-called pigmented).
- Apply a drop of water to a less visible area and spread it lightly with your thumb.
- If the leather does not absorb water or the surface does not darken, it is surface-treated leather and you can continue with the removal.
- Otherwise, stop the application and contact the expert service!
- Thoroughly clean the affected surface evenly from seam to seam with Lederreiniger Mild.
- Apply Sekundenkleber-Entferner to a clean, soft cloth and perform a skin color fastness test on a less visible area.
- Start painting the affected area lightly until the glue dissolves.
- Always keep the application cloth saturated with the product.
- If the surface becomes sticky, stop cleaning and let the skin dry.
- For older, more resistant stains, the application needs to be repeated several times.
- After removal, wipe the entire surface with a cloth moistened with water.
- After drying, treat the leather with protective impregnation Leder Versiegelung.
- In the event that light discoloration occurred during removal, you can refresh the surface of the leather with Leder Fresh toning paint.
