Mercedes steering wheel adapter
Adapter for activating the control buttons on the steering wheel when buying an aftermarket car radio with an ISO connector (included in the adapter) for vehicles:
- MERCEDES Vito III. [W447] (2015->)
- cars with OEM steering wheel buttons, AUDIO 15 audio system and FAKRA (MOST) connector
- the adapter supports the buttons on the steering wheel to control the hands-free kit
- preserves the original characteristics of the vehicle, such as date, time and temperature display
- for aftermarket car radios Sony, Kenwood, Panasonic, JVC, Pioneer, Blaupunkt, Clarion, Alpine, LG, Zenec, Becker, Nakamichi, Philips *
* - Must be ordered together with an adapter for the given type of car radio!
The adapter includes wires with analog signals:
- speed pulses
- +12V after switching on the vehicle lighting
- +12V after engaging the reverse gear
- information about the applied parking brake
- lights on
- this information can be used for the installation of aftermarket car radios, navigation or monitoring systems.
- To fully activate the adapter must be ordered together with the connection cable for the given brand of car radio! (see below)
