CONNECTS2 UNI-SWC5 is a universal resistive and CAN-Bus adapter for steering wheel radio control suitable for use in more than 900 types of cars
The UNI-SWC.5 retains many important car functions when replacing the original head unit with a non-genuine car radio or navigation, such as steering wheel controls, hands free buttons, setting menus and more.
The vehicle's steering wheel button configuration can also be completely remapped, allowing drivers to customize desired functions with a long or short press of a button in all vehicles on any platform. For vehicles with older analog control systems, the interface is equipped with a programming function that ensures compatibility in all cars and installed aftermarket units with steering wheel input.

For cars with CAN-Bus control on the steering wheel, it receives the following analog information
(if the type of car allows it):
- +12V after turning on the key (vol. 15)
- speed pulses
- +12V after switching on the vehicle lighting
- +12V after engaging the reverse gear
- applying the handbrake
this information can be used to fit aftermarket car radios, navigation or monitoring systems.
