The Awave DSP6-8 is an 8-channel DSP processor that easily connects to any analog or digital source and transforms ordinary "audio" into a high-performance integrated system. Simple and intuitive computer software provides a wide range of adjustments to improve the acoustic response of complex environments such as the interior of a car. It provides 8 signal inputs with different connection options: six high-level inputs that also accept low-level pre-amplified signals, a stereo auxiliary input and an optical digital input accepting signals with a sample rate of up to 96/24 bits. The PC software developed according to the specific ergonomic criteria required by the car audio industry allows direct access to all available signal processing functions, providing immediate results as well as extreme operational precision. Setting the parameters of the individual input channels, setting the delay according to the listening position, tuning crossovers and equalizers for each output channel - these are just some of the operations that can be managed using the PC software based on the Windows platform. The supplied DRC HE remote control enables control of the main system without the use of a PC. Thanks to this device, installed in an ergonomic position on the dashboard of the car, the user can choose between two configurations previously stored using PC software. You can also select the source from the main, auxiliary and optical digital input and adjust the main functions of the system (volume, balance, fader and subwoofer volume).
