DSP processor Hertz H8 DSP DRC
8-channel digital processor suitable for Plug & Play installation on an original car radio without RCA outputs. The Hertz H8 DSP can connect any analog or digital source and transform an ordinary "audio system" into a high-performance integrated system. Simple and intuitive computer software provides a wide range of adjustments to improve the acoustic response of a complex environment such as a car. It provides 7 signal inputs with different connection options: four high-level inputs that also accept pre-amplified low-level signals; stereo auxiliary input and optical digital input receiving signals with a sample rate of up to 96/24 bits. The optical digital input (selectable via the DRC HE remote control and the "Optical / AUX select" terminal) cancels signal degradation also by bypassing the A / D conversion stages of analog signals. Thanks to the configuration wizard provided by the software during setup, the H8 DSP can automatically calculate multiple filtered channels (eg woofer plus tweeter), "flatten" the OEM source equalized response curve and reconstruct the center, rear or subwoofer channel with a single stereo input. By reading the test track on the supplied CD, the H8 DSP restores the signal with a full bandwidth, flat frequency response and excellent sound quality released after processing. The H8 DSP includes 8 analog PreOuts, each containing a 31-band equalizer, 68-step electronic crossover, Linkwitz-Riley or Butterworth filters with adjustable 6 - 24 dB and digital time delays.
The software provides direct access to all available signal processing functions, providing immediate results and extreme operational accuracy. Setting the parameters of the individual input channels, setting the delay according to the listening position, tuning crossovers and equalizers for each output channel - these are just some of the operations that can be managed by PC software based on the Windows platform (XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10) for use in standard or expert mode.The software is available in English, Italian, German, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean. The user can select a language and the change will be applied in drop-down menus as well as context-sensitive help messages. The number of available languages will increase as soon as updates are available for download from the Bit Drive portal (www.bitDrive.it).
DRC HE enables control of the main system without the use of a PC. Thanks to this device, which can be installed in an ergonomic position in the dashboard of the car, the user can choose between two "tuning" configurations previously saved by software; select source from main, auxiliary and optical digital input; setting the main system functions (volume, balance, fader and subwoofer volume).
