Adapter for displaying vehicle information on the monitor of the newly installed AV unit for steering wheel control and connecting the parking camera to vehicles:

Important additional information

• Only for VW cars with MIB-PQ (MIB2) multimedia interface (separate display and unit located in the glove box in front of the passenger).
• For cars with steering wheel controls (buttons are necessary to set the information adapter).
• Designed for aftermarket Sony, Kenwood, Panasonic, JVC, Pioneer, Blaupunkt, Clarion, Alpine, LG, Zenec, Becker car radios.
• Installation instructions in English can be found under thislink .
• To fully activate the adapter, it is necessary to order a connecting cable for the given brand of car radio! (see below).

The adapter enables the following information to be displayed on the display of the retrofitted AV unit

• Adjustment of air conditioning, ventilation, seat heating.
• Displaying car function settings such as: date and time, lighting, on-board computer settings - MFD, tire pressure check...).
• Display of the distance from the obstacle of the OEM parking sensors (front and rear).
• Connecting the rear parking camera.
• Control and changes of the set parameters using the buttons on the panel for installing 2DIN navigation.
• Connecting an AV unit with an ISO connector.

The adapter includes wires with analog signals

• +12 V after turning on the key (vol. 15)
• +12 V after turning on the vehicle lighting
• +12 V after engaging reverse gear
• Speed pulses
• MUTE wire (mute the car radio during a call)

NOTE
This information can be used to fit aftermarket car radios, navigation or monitoring systems.
