JL Audio's C2 Series loudspeaker systems combine the faithful sound of a silk dome tweeter, the natural mids and performance potential of a mid-woofer in a wide range of popular sizes. In the C2 series, you will therefore find both component and coaxial speakers of several common sizes, as well as separate tweeters or mid-bass speakers. With all speakers, you can count on trouble-free installation and easy replacement of factory systems. In designing the new C2 Series loudspeakers, JL Audio engineers drew on extensive experience in woofer design as well as tweeter technology used in the higher-end C5 component systems. All coaxial and component systems have a tweeter with a diameter of 19 mm, the dome of which is made of silk. This natural material allows for a natural sound and a smooth, extended response even off-axis. The smaller dimensions of the tweeter minimize its protrusion, which you will appreciate especially when installing coaxial speakers. The mid-bass membrane is made of mineral-filled polypropylene, thanks to which it is strong enough and has the ability of a long stroke. The pressed steel basket in turn minimizes the resonances of this area. The package of all speakers also includes designer grilles in black with satin silver accents and a galvanically shaped JL Audio logo.

JL Audio is an American manufacturer of consumer audio equipment that specializes in home, vehicle and boat sound systems. It is one of the main pioneers of vehicle sound systems and is undoubtedly best known for its high-end subwoofers.
