Meguiar's Gold Class Carnauba Plus Premium Quik Wax Spray (473 ml)
"Quick waxes" are the fastest method to give your car body protection that will last for weeks! Gold Class wax is a premium wax from the Meguiar's range, additionally containing natural carnauba. Perfect protection, water repellency and shine support is exactly what you can expect from this wax. Natural carnauba gives lacquers an extreme depth of shine that is best seen on dark and black lacquers. The first-class quality of the Gold Class wax was confirmed by an independent test in the laboratories of the University of Technology in Liberec, which was published in the Autosalon program on the Prima television station. You can also use quick waxes in the sprayer on matte varnishes.
You will especially appreciate the first-class wax from the Gold Class series if you need to create a protective layer on your car or individual parts quickly and without any effort. The wax is suitable for all cars, especially for dark varnishes, to which it adds a depth of shine. With this "fast" wax, you can easily achieve the perfect depth of paint with an attractive "wet" look.
Tips for waxing and paint protection
- The body should be cool to the touch and in the shade.
- The paint surface should be clean and dry. If necessary, decontaminate the paint surface with Meguiar's clay - this will achieve a glass-smooth paint surface on which the protective layer will last longer.
- If necessary, remove paint defects (scratches, stains, oxidation, etc.) and achieve maximum shine with one of Meguiar's effective and gentle polishes.
- Use only a very small amount!
- "Quick wax" is the fastest and easiest way to protect the paint.
- Waxes can support and enhance the shine and depth of paint that you have achieved by previous polishing. However, they are not designed to create a shine on old and oxidized paint by themselves. You can only achieve this by polishing!
- Use only a very small amount - the larger the layer of wax, the more difficult the wiping and the faster the consumption. Larger quantities will not increase protection!
- When applying, avoid all rubber and plastic surfaces on which the wax could leave white marks.
- You can significantly extend the durability of the wax layer and the effect of repulsion or "beading of water" (the so-called hydrophobic effect) by regular use of Meguiar's shampoos. Using Meguiar's detailers will give you the best maintenance between regular washes.
- Do not use aggressive and detergent products, degreasers (typically dishwashing detergents, etc.) or active cleaners and foams to wash the car - these products are not gentle on the wax layer and significantly weaken it, in some cases they can completely remove the wax from the paint surface, as well as polishing oils that nourish the paint. The result will be a dried and exposed paint that starts to degrade very quickly on the surface and is easy to damage mechanically and chemically until you protect the paint again with a new layer of wax or other suitable protection.
Car waxing procedure
- Work on a body that is in the shade and cool to the touch.
- Spray a very thin layer of wax on the body surface from a distance of approx. 30 cm.
- A larger layer of wax does not increase protection! If you use too much wax, it will be more difficult to wipe off and you will use up the package sooner.
- You don't have to let the wax dry on the surface, but you can wipe it off immediately.
- You can apply the "quick" wax both to the dry surface of the bodywork and to the wet paint before the final drying.
- Lightly wipe the wax from the dry polish with a microfiber towel X1801 Meguiar's Finishing Towel , X2010 Meguiar's Supreme Shine Microfiber Towel or E101 Meguiar's Ultimate Microfiber Towel . To remove wax from wet paint, simply dry the surface with the microfiber drying towel X1802 Meguiar's Supreme Drying Towel , X2000 Meguiar's Water Magnet or X2100 Meguiar's Natural Chamois .
