Meguiar's Supreme Shine Drying Towel
The very high grammage ensures extreme water absorption, while the fine, long fibers pamper the surface of your car's paint. Thanks to drying, you will get rid of water stains on your paint as well as limescale and other minerals contained in the water. High-quality, gentle drying of your car will help maintain its perfect appearance for a long time. The thriftiness of the material used as well as the delicate hemming of the edges of the towel will ensure that you will not scratch your car's paintwork during drying. Meguiar's Supreme Shine Drying Towel is completely gentle on all surfaces you'll find on your car, from paintwork to delicate chrome parts. Thanks to Meguiar's Supreme Shine Drying Towel, you will really look forward to drying your car.
Tips for drying your car:
- After the final rinse of the shampoo from the body surface, rinse the car once again, slowly from top to bottom , but this time only with a very thin stream of water flowing freely from the hose without a pressure attachment. With this step, up to 80% of the remaining water can be removed from the varnish, making subsequent drying much easier.
- Remove the water from the surface of the car with a microfiber drying towel.
- Finally, reach hard-to-reach places, folds and body contours.
- By doing this, you will keep the towel dry as long as possible and extend its maximum absorption capacity.
Recommended procedure for washing a car
- Rinse your car from loose dirt with pressurized water or a vacuum cleaner from the bottom up! The lower parts of the car are the most dirty, so when rinsing from the bottom up, the water acts on the dirtiest places for the longest time, and thus soaks the dirt for the longest time. In addition, all the dirt from the higher parts flows downwards and thus helps to remove soaked dirt from thresholds, wheels or chassis parts.
- Shampoo the entire body from top to bottom, i.e. from the cleanest parts to the dirtiest.
- Always wash the glove thoroughly when soaking in the bucket to remove any dirt and you haven't put it back on the paint.
- Rinse the shampoo from the body using pressurized water or a sponge from top to bottom. The running water will help to remove the shampoo even from hard-to-reach places.
- Finally, rinse the car again slowly from top to bottom, but this time only with a very thin stream of water flowing freely from the hose without a pressure attachment. With this step, up to 80% of the remaining water can be removed from the varnish, making subsequent drying much easier!
- Dry the car with a high-quality, extremely absorbent X2000 Meguiar's Water Magnet Microfiber Drying Towel or the premium X2100 Meguiar's Natural Chamois .
- If necessary, reinforce the protective wax layer with one of Meguiar's quick waxes .
