Meguiar's Ultimate Wax in solid form is an improvement on the most modern polymer wax! Hydrophobic (water-repellent) long-term protection, high gloss and depth of polish is exactly what you can enjoy after using this precisely developed wax. It's amazingly easy to apply and easy to wipe off too. Meguiar's Ultimate Paste Wax is completely paint-friendly and is a great choice for protecting chrome and headlights too!

Tips for waxing and paint protection:

• The body should be cool to the touch and in the shade.
• The paint surface should be clean and dry. If necessary, decontaminate the paint surface with Meguiar's clay - this will achieve a glass-smooth paint surface on which the protective layer will last longer.
• If necessary, remove paint defects (scratches, stains, oxidation, etc.) and achieve maximum shine with one of our effective and gentle Meguiar's polishes.
• Use only a very small amount - the larger the layer of wax, the more difficult the wiping and the faster the consumption. Larger quantities will not increase protection!
• Waxes from the most advanced Ultimate series do not leave white spots on plastics and rubber!
• One package of wax, whether solid or liquid, should be enough to treat 15-18 passenger cars if applied correctly!
• The difference between solid and liquid Meguiar's wax is just a matter of personal preference. Both types will provide the same protection to the car, so choose the one with which you will work better and more comfortably.
• Waxes can support and enhance the shine and depth of paint that you have achieved by previous polishing. However, they are not designed to create a shine on old and oxidized paint by themselves. This can only be achieved by polishing.
• Synthetic waxes are not only suitable for bodywork, you can also use them on wheels, metal parts, chrome, clear plastics and glass!
• The easiest way to apply wax is to apply the wax to the entire surface of the body. In the meantime, the wax just needs to dry, so you can replace the applicator with a microfiber cloth and start wiping the wax in the same sequence. Such a procedure will take you 20-30 minutes of work on a personal car without much effort.
• The wax turns slightly white when it dries. However, if you are not sure whether the wax is dry enough to wipe off, use the "finger test". Try to wipe off the wax with the tip of your finger - if you smear the wax on the surface, we recommend waiting a little longer, but if you wipe off the wax with your finger, you can polish it clean.
• The durability of the wax layer and the effect of repelling or beading water (the so-called hydrophobic effect) can be significantly extended by regular use of Meguiar's shampoos. Using Meguiar's detailers will give you the best maintenance between regular washes.
• Do not use aggressive and detergent products, degreasers (typically dishes, etc.) or active cleaners and foams to wash the car - these products are not gentle on the wax layer and significantly weaken it, in some cases they can completely remove the wax from the paint surface, as well as polishing oils that nourish the paint. The result will be a dried and exposed paint that starts to degrade very quickly on the surface and is easy to damage mechanically and chemically until you protect the paint again with a new layer of wax or other suitable protection.
• Waxes from the Ultimate series can also be applied in direct sunlight if necessary.

Car waxing procedure:

• Work on a body that is in the shade and cool to the touch.
• Use the foam applicator included in the packaging of this wax to scoop a small amount of wax from the can.
• Let the applicator slide over the surface in circular motions and completely without pressure.
• Apply a very thin matte film, visible against light.
• Add wax in very small amounts only if necessary - if you do not apply a sufficient, thin layer of wax with the applicator as at the beginning of the work.
• A larger layer of wax does not increase protection! If you use too much wax, it will be more difficult to wipe off and you will use up the pack sooner!
• Let the wax dry on the surface for at least a few minutes (depending on the ambient conditions in which you are working - temperature, humidity).
• After the wax dries, lightly wipe with a microfiber towel X1906 Meguiar's Supreme Finishing Towel, X2010 Meguiar's Supreme Shine Microfiber Towel, or E101 Meguiar's Ultimate Microfiber Towel.
