Hard types of paint, such as BMW, Mercedes Benz or Volkswagen, can often be difficult to polish with a dual action (DA) polish. The Auto Finesse Revitalise No.1 Restoring Compound V2 polishing paste was designed to remove deep grooves and scratches with a dual action polisher. Restoring Compound V2 also easily restores faded colors that have been exposed to long-term oxidation. This is the first step in a complete paint revitalization program. As with all Auto Finesse Revitalise variants, Restoring Compound was designed to work in conjunction with wheels from the same series, it can grind scratched paint the most. The combination of the polishing wheel and the tool makes it possible to remove defects without effort and to repair the paintwork with ease. After using the Restoring Compound, we recommend to use at least the second step - Polishing Compound, or a paste designed for one-step polishing - One Step Compound, to obtain a high gloss.

The Auto Finesse Revitalise program is intended for everyone who wants to improve the paint on their car. All Revitalise pastes and polishing discs have been designed for use with a dual action (orbital) polisher. The new Auto Finesse pastes are water-based and without filler components, which would only mask paint damage.
