You can use it on any wheels: chrome, painted, tin, etc. Wheel sealant can also be used on plastic wheel covers. It partially prevents brake dust and dirt from settling on the wheels, which facilitates their subsequent washing. The composition, which is harder than classic waxes, can withstand high temperatures and aggressive environments. In addition, it protects against oxidation and has an incredible property - perfect water repellency. What we must not forget is the captivating smell of the sealant, specifically the smell of fruit chewing gum.

Important preparation before applying Poorboy's sealant

Before applying sealant to Poorboy's wheels, it is important to decontaminate the wheels, for example with ValetPro Dragons Breath fly rust remover. If there is brake dust and coarse dirt on the wheels, they need to be removed. You can use Clay or a very strong cleaner such as Bilt Hamber Surfex-HD biodegradable cleaner. For perfect water drainage and a high shine without scratches, polish the wheels with a machine polisher - we use Rupes iBrid nano polish and Rupes hologram removal pastes. Before actually applying the sealant, clean the wheels with one of the paint cleaners .

Applying sealant to the wheels

As soon as you have the wheel prepared, washed, cleaned, possibly polished and dried, you can start applying the sealant. Use the Bilt Hamber App Pad foam applicator and apply the sealant evenly in a thin layer over the entire wheel. We only applied the sealant to the front side, but for a perfect result you can also apply it to the inside of the wheel. Wipe off the sealant after about 5-10 minutes, it must be relatively dry to the touch. Always apply at least two layers of sealant, spaced several hours apart. For buffing, use a microfiber cloth with a long fiber, such as the Dodo Juice Fantastic Fur Buffing Cloth . The sealant is very easy to apply and easy to wipe off. Its application and subsequent wiping is a matter of time. For long-lasting wax/sealant, do not use wheel cleaners, just the shampoo itself.
