RUPES BigFoot LHR 21 MarkIII - the most modern machine orbital polisher with a displacement of 21 mm
The Rupes BigFoot LHR 21 MarkIII high-end orbital polisher is the most modern professional tool for machine paint renovation, and not only in the detailing studio. The third generation of Rupes BigFoot orbital polishers stands out with higher performance, improved ergonomics and an even smoother operation, which makes removing paint defects such as scratches, stains, oxidation, etc. easier than ever before! At the same time, however, it excels in the gentleness typical of orbital polishers, as it does not create holograms.
The new generation of Rupes polishers received several improvements compared to previous versions:
- More powerful electronics ensure even greater polishing power and efficiency.
- The optimal balance reduces vibrations and ensures a much smoother operation of the polisher.
- The progressive trigger allows you to adjust the speed of rotation simply by changing the pressure of the trigger button.
- The rubberized head on both sides ensures an even firmer and more secure hold of the polisher while working.
- 9 m long cable, which has become the standard for Rupes BigFoot polishers.
- Optimized speed range for maximum polishing efficiency.
- Two stands make it easier to put the polisher away, prevent it from being scratched and increase the stability of the device when it is put away.
- A larger rubberized speed control button makes it easier to set the polisher correctly before and during work.
- Innovative design and improved ergonomics provide maximum comfort at work.
Its use is so effective that it is comparable to top rotary polishers. The Rupes LHR 21 MarkIII polisher performs a so-called "orbital" movement, which is significantly gentler than the classic rotary one and enables the achievement of a better final appearance (so-called "finish") of the paint. Its use is very simple and effective. The polisher allows setting the speed in 6 steps for trouble-free work in every situation. It is suitable for polishing all types of painted and glazed surfaces on cars, boats, caravans, airplanes and motorcycles. Greater clearance ensures faster work without loss of efficiency, especially on large surfaces and parts such as vans, buses, motorhomes, ships and aircraft. On the contrary, it is not suitable for polishing contours and hard-to-reach places. For these purposes, we recommend using a polisher with less displacement, e.g. MT310 Meguiar's DA Polisher with 3" driver (DBP3).
Advantages of orbital / DA polishers over rotary polishers:
- Safety and gentleness - the orbital / DA polisher does not generate as much heat as a rotary polisher and there is no risk of irreversible damage to the paint due to high temperature (so-called "burning of the paint") or its sanding.
- No holograms - the orbital / DA movement does not create holograms, which are often a side effect when working with a rotary polisher. The holograms must then be removed as part of the next polishing steps, and this can also be a time-consuming and technically demanding process in the way of the perfect appearance of the paint. Such a repair can take several hours even for a professional.
- Simplicity - you can master working with an orbital / DA polisher literally in a few minutes after explaining the basic work procedures, with a rotary polisher it is recommended to undergo professional training and then gather at least a few months of experience before starting to renovate the paintwork of a car.
- Perfect finish - less "aggressiveness" of orbital / DA polishes contributes to achieving a smoother and better final result and a higher gloss with significantly less risk of additional damage to the paint.
- Modern detailing procedures - orbital / DA polishers are the future of detailing and open up to amateurs, occasional users and seasoned professionals wide and hitherto unknown possibilities in paint care.
