The basis of all Steg cables is high-quality oxygen-free OFC copper, ensuring immediate current transfer with minimal inrush current leakage. Together with super-efficient shielding and other technologies that meet ASTM safety standards, Steg cables enable the revival of the sound scene, the perfect identification and faithful reproduction of every detail in the sound, and the transmission of the signal with low losses, especially when playing high frequencies. The speaker cable is made of 0.2 mm thick copper wires, which are twisted into 8 stronger strands in a twisted design. Protection against interference is provided by cotton yarn, aluminum foil, as well as a robust outer insulation with Soft-Touch ™ technology made of a special polymer that allows for exceptional elasticity and flexibility while maintaining high resistance to abrasion and the corrosive nature of chemical solvents. Finally, the cable is wrapped in a designer black braid, which further increases the cable's durability.
