And all this, of course, in the requested plug & play installation. Two model lines of speaker systems available that simply have no equivalent in sound quality on the market today. Part of the Reference series is the Morel IR-MBZ42 premium component system, which is complemented by IR-MBZ4INT coaxial speakers with an integrated tweeter and two types of central speakers. All complemented by high-quality subwoofers produced in two variants according to the Mercedes-Benz model series. With the DirectFit system, unique 4-inch speaker chassis design with supplied mounting brackets, easy snap-on 1.1” (28mm) tweeters and factory cable connection, Morel speakers allow installation in all current Mercedes-Benz models without any modifications. The Morel MBZSUB82-1L flat-panel subwoofers with an ultra-light 200 mm (8") diameter carbon diaphragm deliver precise, powerful bass thanks to Morel's innovative EVC™ motor topology with a powerful neodymium magnet and a large 2" voice coil. The DirectFit design allows the chassis specific to Mercedes- Benz and plug-and-play connectors for quick and easy installation in all models with under-dash subwoofers.Subwoofers have been designed with 2 ohm impedance, making them highly efficient when used with an OEM amplifier results with higher power gain thanks to a matching aftermarket amplifier.

Morel subwoofers feature ultra-lightweight carbon diaphragms with EVC™ technology, using voice coils that are up to three times larger than those used in conventional speakers, allowing for better heat dissipation, power handling and linearity. The EVC™ design moves the magnetic motor system into the voice coil, eliminating stray magnetic flux by effectively directing all magnetic energy into the voice coil. EVC architecture is more than 90% more efficient than conventional design, magnetically shielded and highly compact. Even the magnets of the subwoofer have modern technologies. Neodymium, the most powerful magnet available, allows Morel to create physically compact speakers and subwoofers that fit into very limited spaces without compromising sound quality. The Uniflow™ chassis uses an open design that is aerodynamically efficient and allows air and sound waves to flow evenly and smoothly. Its geometric shape also eliminates interference with the moving parts of the woofer, allowing the use of a low-profile spider for greater support and stability.
