What are USB adapters for?

USB adapters in most cases simulate the function of a CD changer for the original car radio . If the CD changer was not installed in the car from the factory, this function must be enabled for diagnostics. The USB adapter then behaves like an original CD changer, i.e. it is possible to browse between 6 folders and the correct formatting and foldering of songs must be observed. The maximum possible capacity of the USB disk is also limited, usually to 8GB.
