What is car wax used for?

Waxes protect the car's paint for a long time against weather effects, UV radiation, repel water and dirt, but above all give the paint a high and deep shine. The varnish protected by wax significantly facilitates washing and overall maintenance for up to one year. We divide waxes into natural (carnauba) and synthetic. Carnauba waxes are characterized above all by a very deep, wet shine, they emphasize the color of the varnish, their captivating aroma makes your work more pleasant and they last an average of 3 months. After that, it is advisable to repeat the application. Synthetic waxes are significantly more durable, they last from 6 to 12 months on the paint and have a higher resistance to chemicals and extreme temperatures. However, compared to natural waxes, they do not have such a deep shine.
