Alpine has created an all-new "Alpine Status" sound system using the same technical and design concepts used in the third generation AlpineF#1Status Ultra High Definition system to achieve high definition sound at a more affordable price. The Alpine Status system is also extremely flexible: all components can be purchased and used in a "stand-alone" configuration. For audiophiles looking to create the ideal sound system, Alpine Status offers a wide range of speakers with Hi-Res Audio support. The HDZ-65CS Slim-Fit 2-Way High Definition 55Hz - 40kHz Speaker Kit includes a 170mm door woofer and a 40mm Slim-Fit tweeter that easily installs into your car's original tweeter locations. Top x-over speakers are also included. All speaker diaphragms are made of the same carbon composite material, which creates a uniform identity of sound color during playback. Very close in look and feel to the AlpineF#1Status speakers, they use a very similar design and motor setup, as well as identical construction materials for the highest sound quality.

Hi-Res Audio Accessing High-Resolution Audio - The Alpine Status system features many of the technologies, components and materials of the AlpineF#1Status system to achieve extremely accurate music reproduction - at an affordable price. It is designed to play 192 kHz / 24-bit music tracks that are widely available in many online stores and streaming platforms. High-resolution 192 kHz / 24-bit audio playback enables Alpine Status to create an elevated in-vehicle listening experience that mimics the feel of an intimate recording studio session.
Slim-Fit 2-Way Speaker System - Drawing on AlpineF#1Status technology and materials, these Hi-Res Audio certified speakers deliver the highest quality audiophile sound in your vehicle up to 40kHz. The two-way slim fit system consists of 170 mm door woofers and 40 mm Slim-Fit tweeters. The set also includes high-end X-over nets.
Carbon Fiber Diaphragm - All speakers in this set (as well as the HDZ-110 Alpine Status subwoofer ) use reinforced carbon composite diaphragms to achieve a fully unified timbre identity - resulting in excellent harmony. Carbon is very light and stiff, resulting in high dynamics and low distortion.
Premium build quality - Trickle-down technology - double edge allows for maximum diaphragm deflection with excellent diaphragm control and stability. This reduces the sound distortion caused by the vibration of the diaphragm at higher volume levels.
Slim-Fit Tweeter - The included 40mm Hi-Res Audio slim-fit tweeters sound simply amazing and play up to 40kHz. They are significantly smaller than the HDZ-65C tweeters, with an emphasis on easy installation. They also feature an integrated waveguide, a tuned rear chamber and a strong neodymium magnet.
Alpine Status Full System - contains many components that are optimized for power and performance as a complete system for playback in the intended high definition specification for excellent audiophile sound quality. However, each component can be purchased separately to build your own system.
Audiophile speaker X-Overs - the included 2-way x-over networks contain hand-picked, high-end components and offer many adjustment options: you can adjust the tweeter level from +3dB, 0dB or -3dB and the X-Over woofer can be adjusted either at 12 dB/oct or 6 dB/oct. Smoked acrylic cover with Alpine logo can be slid forward to access screw terminals and jumpers.
Studio recording specification - Alpine Status achieves 192kHz/24bit playback, which is 6.5 times the amount of digital audio data in a standard CD or digital streaming service and exceeds the standard 96kHz/24bit high definition specification found in most audio aftermarket solution. This allows Alpine Status to capture and accurately reproduce details such as a performer's breath or a musician's subtle interaction with an instrument. This capability not only reproduces the music as originally intended by the artist, but mimics the in-vehicle studio recording experience.
