Bilt Hamber Electrox zinc protection

A unique zinc coating - Bilt Hamber Electrox can protect steel from corrosion and maintain electrical functionality. Electroplated steel produces a surface layer containing more than 90% metallic zinc. As soon as the hardened solid particles of zinc form an electrically conductive path, they enable cathodic protection of the underlying steel - exactly the same principle is used in hot-dip galvanizing. Galvanized steel is proven to provide excellent durability even in the harshest and most aggressive environments. (Many metals have a problem with industrial galvanizing, e.g. due to size or non-transferability. That's why Bilt Hamber came up with their zinc coating as well as a spray, which also meets the most stringent quality standards for galvanizing.)

• It is applied with a brush.
• The product does not need to be diluted, it can be applied directly.
• The cured zinc film can be left uncoated or top-coated with a wide range of finishing colors if you want to increase the protection even further.
