BMW X6 M - top sound system (Harman Kardon upgrade)

Complete sound system of the BMW X6 M including measuring the frequency response of the speakers and setting the results in the DSP processor program. An optional Harman Kardon audio system was installed in the car, which is one of the best in the world of factory sound systems, but a more demanding listener will soon discover its shortcomings and reach for a better solution. We approached this installation somewhat differently than you are used to here. Most often, we install plug & play sound systems from Audison in BMW vehicles. However, we recently acquired the official representation of the Italian high-end manufacturer ESB Audio, which offers more advanced speakers for BMW cars. They are receiving great reviews abroad, and due to the high demands of our client, we did not hesitate to use them in this installation focused on sound quality. And as expected, these components did not disappoint us, because they are a class above everything we have heard so far for BMW cars. Hand in hand with higher quality speakers is the need to use a better sounding amplifier. Since the amplifier with an integrated DSP processor from the American manufacturer Zapco has already proven itself several times, it was also a clear choice for this installation. The last piece in the mosaic of new sound for this beautiful car is the JL Audio subwoofer, which will provide precisely accurate sound and significantly support the dynamics of the sound system. Due to the minimal dimensions, the subwoofer can be hidden in the double bottom of the luggage compartment. At the end, of course, it was time for measurements and detailed sound settings on the DSP processor. Using a calibrated microphone, we measured all the shortcomings and obstacles of a given car and set the spatial correction of the equalizer for each speaker in the car. Subsequently, we set time corrections, levels, bandpasses and other options that the DSP processor will allow us. The result of the installation is high-fidelity sound tailored to the given car and the feeling that you are sitting at a live concert right in front of the performer.View products >Hide products >
