Gyeon Q2 LeatherShield EVO ceramic skin protection
Advanced ceramic coating specially developed for automotive leather. Q² LeatherShield EVO is suitable for all types of manufactured leather. It does not change the appearance of the upholstery. It is very easy to apply in just one layer. Before application, make sure to clean the skin well and remove any remaining cleanser. We recommend using one of the highly effective Q²M LeatherCleaners. Q² LeatherShield EVO is a protection with a SiO₂-based composition, which is specially developed for all types of modern automotive leather covers. Provides excellent protection against dirt, UV rays and the demands of everyday use. It has been tested on all skin types, provides great protection and leaves a fully matte finish. After applying the protection, the leather does not harden or increase its slipperiness, but retains its original properties.

Application procedure
- Before applying the ceramic leather protection, clean the leather thoroughly and remove dirt and grease with the leather cleaner Gyeon Q2M LeatherCleaner Strong in case of heavy soiling, or Gyeon Q2M LeatherCleaner Mild for lightly soiled surfaces. (No need to use on new cars.)
- Put on a headlamp and protective rubber gloves .
- Shake the bottle a few times.
- Just drop a reasonable amount of product onto the applicator.
- Drip regularly during application.
- Start rubbing the cover into the seat so that it is everywhere and there is no dry spot!
- You can tell where the coating is applied by the surface becoming slightly shiny, it's obvious. After wiping, a matte is formed.
- Work in sections and within 2, max. 3 minutes, the coating must be wiped off with a microfiber towel with a short pile (e.g. Purestar Speed Polish Multi Towel Gray ).
- For example, one part is the entire seat or backrest, but don't hang around too much, time goes by somehow faster when applying.
- It is therefore a good idea to have a watch with you and keep track of the time.
- Do this all over the car, first the dashboard, the steering wheel, the driver's seat, then the passenger seat, the rear seats and finally the door panels and the armrest.
- If necessary, move the seat forwards or, conversely, backwards, so you can get to all the places better.
- At a temperature of 25 ºC the coating dries in 60 minutes and at a temperature of 15 ºC it dries in two hours.
