Bilt Hamber Korrosol V2 fly rust remover

Bilt Hamber Korrosol is a pH-balanced, non-alkaline rust remover that works gently and effectively to remove the rust that builds up on most cars. These harmful impurities are usually not visible to the naked eye. Next time you wash your car, try running your hand lightly over the paint. On horizontal panels like the hood, roof, or trunk, you can feel a slight graininess under your fingers. You might think it's just dust from the air, but it's not. The airborne metal particles that are created by the braking of the car in front of you settle firmly on the paint of your car and gradually these particles corrode the surface of the paint, causing permanent damage to the paint.

How do these contaminants damage your paint?

These dangerous particles get stuck on the car's paint and over time, in reaction with rain or car washing, corrosion occurs. Rust will slowly begin to erode the top layer of paint and, in an undesirable case, will eventually reach the base itself. This reaction leads to irreversible damage to the functional and aesthetic side of the paint on your car.

How Bilt Hamber Korrosol works

Hard acids, such as phosphoric acid and oxalic acid, contained in some preparations of a similar type of preparation, can be used with similar effect to remove rust and contamination. However, these cleaners can sometimes also damage paintwork and bare steel or chrome. Bilt Hamber Korrosol is a pH-balanced product that is completely safe for all types of surfaces, including polished aluminium, chrome or plastics and rubber. When Korrosol is sprayed on the panel, after a while the color will change dramatically, from pink to red, thus the necessary reaction and dissolution of iron particles and all impurities will occur.

How to use Bilt Hamber Korrosol

  • Wash the car first (ideally).
  • Wear protective rubber gloves when working with fly rust remover.
  • Always apply Korrosol in the shade and on a cool body - never let Korrosol dry completely on the car body.
  • Proceed in parts. Spray Korrosol on a part of the car (corresponding to approximately 2 doors) and leave for 1-2 minutes and then wash with a stream of water.
  • Proceed in this way around the entire car.
  • Places where there is a lot of contamination (behind the wheels, rear of the car) repeat for a 100% result of paint decontamination.
  • Finally, wash and dry the car again.
  • Pay attention to increased rinsing - it happens that Korrosol can remain in places where water is retained, and therefore it is necessary to rinse the car more thoroughly and more often than when simply washing.
