Meguiar's new drive system makes machine polishing much simpler and more efficient. At the same time, it will make it easier for you to choose the right driver for specific discs. The DBP3 carrier is designed for use with the MT310 Meguiar's DA polisher and other orbital polishers with a 5/16" thread diameter. Holds 4" diameter Meguiar's Soft Buff foam discs ( G3507 , G3508 and G3509 ), 3" diameter DA Microfiber discs " ( DMC3 and DMF3 ) and 3M Trizact grinding wheels with a diameter of 3".

Meguiar's new DBP series drivers have been completely redesigned to give you the best results in body polishing and sanding. The special Velcro fastener that attaches the polishing and grinding wheels to the carriers was developed with an emphasis on maximum polishing and grinding efficiency. This unique system prevents unwanted loss of polishing power. Due to vibrations and perpendicular pressure on the driver, conventional Velcro fasteners can cause play in the connection between the driver and the disc and thus the loss of the polishing power generated by the polisher. The result is a limited ability to correct and polish the paint.

The Velcro system, with its unique construction, ensures the strength of the connection between the driver and the disc and thus increases the efficiency of machine polishing and grinding. Thanks to the Velcro fastener, there are no unwanted clearances and the maximum amount of polishing power is transferred from the polisher to the paint surface. That's why Meguiar's uses this velcro on all their reels and drivers.

Carriers can affect the result of paint renovation as well as the used machine polisher, wheel, polishing paste or the application technique itself. If you use a low-quality driver or a driver with an unsuitable Velcro fastener, the result of your work can be negatively affected. Although it is technically possible to use wheels or drivers with regular Velcro, for the reasons described above, we recommend that our customers always use only Meguiar's high-quality wheels and drivers, which will ensure the best possible results for correction, polishing and waxing of the paint.

Advantages of Meguiar's Soft Buff over older versions of Meguiar's Soft Buff:

• Higher performance - a completely redesigned driver provides an improved transfer of polishing power from the polisher to the paint surface.
• Greater durability - new fiberglass core and safety rivets increase the strength and durability of the driver.
• Rotation indicator - makes it easier to control the rotation of the driver and thus makes machine polishing more pleasant.
• Hard rubber edge - ensures precise work in hard-to-reach places, but does not create a sharp edge that could damage the paint.
• Special Velcro fastener - makes polishing and sanding the paint more efficient thanks to the unique design of the fibers.
