For washing, we recommend using shampoos without wax additives. When washing with car shampoo containing wax, you can temporarily cover the hybrid ceramic sealant on the car with the wax contained in the shampoo. These admixtures have a lower hydrophobicity, so covering the hybrid ceramic sealant with these admixtures can lead to a temporary decrease in hydrophobicity. By the time the wax additives supplied by the car shampoo evaporate again, the hybrid ceramic sealant is revealed again, which has a higher hydrophobicity, and this effect is maximized again. However, this phenomenon does not reduce the quality or properties of the hybrid ceramic protection in any way. If you want to avoid a temporary decrease in hydrophobicity due to covering the hybrid ceramic wax with ordinary waxes, we recommend using a wax-free car shampoo for washing, such as Gold Class Shampoo & Conditioner or professional Shampoo Plus . These shampoos do not contain additives that would temporarily cover the hybrid ceramic sealant, thus maintaining its hydrophobicity permanently at the maximum level.

Application procedure - manually

• Work on a body that is in the shade and cool to the touch.
• Shake well.
• Apply a dime-sized amount of product to the foam applicator and rub it completely into the applicator to moisten the surface.
• Then add a drop the size of a cherry stone and apply to the surface.
• Work in circular motions and let the applicator slide over the surface without any pressure.
• Apply a very thin matte film, visible against light.
• Add hybrid ceramic sealant 1-2 drops the size of a cherry stone only if necessary - if you do not apply a sufficiently thin layer of sealant with the applicator as at the beginning of work.
• A larger layer of hybrid ceramic sealant does not increase protection! If you use too much sealant, it will be more difficult to wipe off and you will use up the package sooner!
• Allow the sealant to dry on the surface for at least 2 - 5 minutes (depending on the ambient conditions in which you are working - temperature, humidity).
• After the sealant dries, lightly wipe with a microfiber towel X1801 Meguiar's Finishing Towel , X2010 Meguiar's Supreme Shine Microfiber Towel orE101 Meguiar's Ultimate Microfiber Towel .
• The maximum protection is reached after 24 hours. During this time, we recommend not exposing the treated surfaces to water (e.g. washing or rain).
• Note: If light streaks or mist appear immediately after application, do not worry and allow the product to adhere to the paintwork or previous paint protections and strengthen the shine and protection for approximately 15 minutes.

Application procedure - by machine

• Work on a body that is in the shade and cool to the touch.
• Shake well.
• Use a black foam disc ( G3509 for DA Power System or DFF5 or DFF6 for DA polish).
• Apply 3-4 cherry pit size drops to the disc and rub it completely into the disc to moisten its surface.
• Then add a drop the size of a cherry stone and apply the hybrid ceramic sealant to the surface.
• Work at a low speed (max 1200 RPM on the drill, set the speed to 3800 OPM on the DA polisher).
• Completely without pressure, cover the entire surface of the body with a thin matte film with sealant.
• Add sealant 1-2 drops the size of a cherry stone only if necessary - if you do not apply a sufficiently thin layer of sealant with the disc as at the beginning of the work.
• A larger layer of hybrid ceramic sealant does not increase protection! If you use too much sealant, it will be more difficult to wipe off and you will use up the package sooner!
• Let the hybrid ceramic sealant dry on the surface for at least 2 - 5 minutes (depending on the ambient conditions in which you are working - temperature, air humidity).
• After the sealant dries, lightly wipe with a microfiber towel X1801 Meguiar's Finishing Towel , X2010 Meguiar's Supreme Shine Microfiber Towel orE101 Meguiar's Ultimate Microfiber Towel .

Tips for using Meguiar's PRO Hybrid Ceramic Sealant

• Suitable for paintwork, plastics, lights, rubber strips, metal parts and all other exterior surfaces except glass. If you want to indulge in the effect of "liquid wipers", we recommend applying G8504 Meguiar's Perfect Clarity Glass Sealant .
• For washing, we recommend using shampoos without wax additives to maintain maximum hydrophobicity.
• Ceramic sealant can be combined with your favorite wax!
• The body should be cool to the touch and in the shade.
• The paint surface should be clean and dry. If necessary, decontaminate the paint surface with Meguiar's clay - this will achieve a glass-smooth paint surface on which the protective layer will last longer.
• If necessary, remove paint defects (scratches, stains, oxidation, etc.) and achieve maximum shine with one of our effective and gentle Meguiar's polishes.
• Use only a very small amount - the larger the layer of sealant, the more difficult the wiping and the faster consumption. Larger quantities will not increase protection!
