How Plexiclick is assembled

Step 1

Carefully remove the old license plate holder and the plate itself. We recommend cleaning the newly exposed area behind the license plate. Then screw the new Plexiclick holder straight and symmetrically in place of the original holder. You can fix the Plexiclick holder in the middle with only one screw or two screws along the edges. Please note that the supplied screws are not suitable for threaded inserts (use the original threaded screws if necessary). Using the self-tapping screws (included in the package), the plexiclick can be drilled in new places (only suitable for plastic bumpers). Tighten the screws so that the plexiclick holds firmly, but does not crack. The holder lasts a long time, but we recommend not to overtighten it.

Step 2

Place the license plate in the two bottom clips at the same time and align it to the center. We recommend having a tape measure at hand and putting the mark exactly in the middle. Then press the tag down with slight pressure, the plexiclick holder will straighten slightly and then you will be able to snap the tag into the upper clip. Snap the tag in - there should be a loud click sound.

Step 3

After snapping the tag into the upper clips, check that everything fits and is behind the edge of the plexiclick holder. If necessary, check if there is still a need to attach silicone pads, which dampen vibrations and can stretch the tag. Due to the production tolerances of state license plates, the plate usually holds securely and firmly even without pads. You are done...
