RUPES foam polishing discs are specially designed for use with orbital and planetary polishers. They provide excellent results with significant time savings and lower consumption of polishing paste. Higher displacement of the polisher, for example in polishers from the RUPES BigFoot series, creates high mechanical stress on the foam discs, which leads to an increase in the internal temperature of the disc. The "open cell" structure of RUPES BigFoot foam discs prevents heat generated during polishing. In addition, this design guarantees maximum polishing efficiency with the need for less vertical pressure on the polisher from the user. The center hole makes it easy to center the disc and creates excellent ventilation and heat dissipation through special channels in the carrier. The conical shape of the disc with an overlap over the driver optimizes performance and protects against accidental contact of the driver with the work surface. The yellow marking guarantees easy identification when choosing RUPES pastes - ideally use RUPES High Performance Fine Polishing Compound (250/1000 ml) for the "yellow wheel".
