Škoda Superb 3 - soundproofing

Noise reduction of the Škoda Superb car of the third generation as part of our economy Standard package. Superb customers complain most about the noise from the front and rear wheels, the road and the engine. Although we can find at least some insulation against vibrations on the body and, compared to, for example, the Octavia, a relatively thick carpet on the floor, the factory insulation is completely insufficient. With the Standard package, our main goal was to create a configuration that would not only be lower in price, but also make sense in terms of the overall noise reduction of the car. That's why we already focus on the almost complete car in the basic Standard soundproofing, specifically on the hood, front fenders, front and rear doors, luggage compartment including rear fenders and floor. For noise reduction, we use anti-vibration and sound insulation Comfortmat materials, especially from the Standard model series, thanks to which we are able to reduce the price to a lower level than in the case of the Premium sound reduction package. However, we apply the same membrane materials as in the Premium package to the areas most affected by noise and vibrations. Thanks to this, our basic Standard package already enables highly effective noise reduction, which at the given price has no equivalent on the market today.
