Subaru Outback - noise reduction
Soundproofing of the sixth generation Subaru Outback. Compared to its predecessor, there has been a certain improvement in terms of sound insulation, especially in the area of protection against vibrations, which can be found at points on the floor and in the luggage compartment. However, this is not enough for strong vibrations from the drive unit or the suspension arms, and the same applies to the significant noise from the tires, the surrounding road noise and the noise from the gearbox. Our goal was to eliminate all these shortcomings, and this time we chose top anti-vibration and membrane materials from the Russian manufacturer SGM from the top model series Prime. We agreed with the customer on our discounted Premium soundproofing package, which includes soundproofing of the front, rear and fifth doors, the floor, the luggage compartment including the rear fenders, hood and front fenders. Beyond the scope of the package, we also focused on the torpedo, the noise reduction of which will reduce the noise from the comfortable unit. At the same time, three of our technicians are working on the soundproofing, and they can complete the installation within 1 working day.
