VW Golf V - installation of speakers and car radio

Installation of speakers in the front and rear doors + replacement of the car radio in the Volkswagen Golf V vehicle. We replaced the old factory speakers with component speakers from the German manufacturer Gladen M 165, which have never disappointed us with their sound. For the 2021 season, the speakers have been upgraded with improvements to several parameters. You will be delighted by the high sensitivity, reduced impedance to 3 Ohms and the above-standard dynamics of these popular speakers. We installed coaxial speakers from the same manufacturer in the rear doors, which were completely missing from the factory. We also replaced the factory car radio with a Pioneer multimedia 2DIN car radio with touch screen. Compared to the factory one, the new car radio has significantly higher performance and, of course, quality, which is also positively reflected in the sound of the new speakers. We applied the basic anti-vibration material Profidamp to the inner and outer sheet metal of the door, which prevents vibrations and resonances of the door, and its presence has a positive effect on the bass component of the sound system. We also applied Comfortmat Tsunami acoustic material under the mid-bass, which prevents standing waves behind the speaker and improves the acoustics of the mid-bass speakers.
