Comfortmat Tsunami sound-absorbing material
Comfortmat Tsunami is a top-quality acoustic material from the top Expert series, which is primarily intended for car doors. You can use Tsunami mainly to absorb standing waves behind the speaker, which results in a significant improvement in the acoustics of the speakers in the door. Due to its high noise absorption capacity, Tsunami can also be used for overall soundproofing of doors and other surfaces, however, much more effective materials are used for this purpose, which is why we recommend applying Tsunami only directly behind the speaker. Tsunami has the latest generation of modern assembly adhesive sealant, which guarantees the same adhesive effect at temperatures from -50 to +150 degrees. Self-detachment at extreme temperatures and even under water is therefore excluded. The material is made especially for the vertical surfaces of the door, it is 100% waterproof, does not absorb water or moisture, does not rot and does not decompose.

Where to apply the cushioning material Comfortmat Tsunami
Comfortmat Tsunami is primarily designed to absorb standing waves behind the speaker, which results in an overall improvement in the acoustics of a mid-bass or coaxial speaker. So we apply the material directly behind the loudspeaker as a second layer on the anti-vibration material (for example Comfortmat D2 ). One piece of material is sufficient for two doors. Tsunami can also be used for soundproofing the car as a second layer of anti-vibration materials, however we recommend using more effective materials such as Integra . If you are not sure about choosing the right material, use our soundproofing configurator , which will select suitable materials and the number of pieces according to the type of car. The most common uses of the Comfortmat Tsunami damping material:
- Front and back doors
