Kia Sportage - sound system with DSP processor sound tuning

The sound system of the fourth generation Kia Sportage, including the measurement of the frequency response of the speakers followed by the setting of the DSP processor program. The owner of this car approached us with a request to significantly improve the quality of the factory sound system, including an increase in performance and dynamics. Based on the owner's wishes and the approved budget, we agreed with the customer to replace the speakers in the front and rear doors, install an amplifier with a DSP processor and add a subwoofer to the trunk. Of course, part of the installation was thorough damping of the door with anti-vibration Comfortmat materials. Finally, it was time to measure and adjust the sound on the DSP processor. Using a calibrated microphone, we measured all the shortcomings and obstacles of the given car and set the spatial correction of the equalizer for all speakers in the car. Subsequently, we set time corrections, levels, bandpasses and other options that the DSP processor will allow us. The goal of this installation was to achieve high-quality, dynamic sound without distortion at higher volumes, while at the same time using the potential of the speakers and adapting the sound not only to the driver's position, but also to the car in question.
