Dynax S50 is a highly effective anti-corrosion wax that provides exceptionally long protection to steel surfaces. It penetrates the welded parts and seals surface defects. Dynax S50 forms a soft, brown, waxy film that self-heals if disturbed. It is also able to stop existing corrosion and provide long-term protection to corroded and corrosive surfaces. Dynax S50 was tested under ASTM B117 conditions and significantly outperformed competing materials in salt spray tests. Dynax S50 is also recommended for the protection of expensive machinery and components in transport, machine tools, molds, etc. Dynax S50 can be removed with a suitable solvent if necessary. Dynax S50 is not suitable for long-term exposure to ultraviolet (UV) light. The advanced metal anti-corrosion molecules that make up Dynax S50 can displace water, so even wet surfaces can be protected. The same molecules prevent corrosion on an already rusty surface and provide remarkable self-healing capabilities if the film is damaged. Dynax S50 is primarily a cavity anti-corrosion compound. Dynax S50 has been used with excellent results to protect cavities in steel barges, vessels, offshore facilities and other steel structures exposed to highly corrosive conditions.
