BMW 3 (G20) - soundproofing of doors and wheel arches

Sound deadening of all doors and wheel arches of the BMW 3 latest model series. If you want to reduce the noise in the interior of the car, it is a good solution to start right at the door. Through them, a high percentage of noise penetrates into the interior of the car, and high-quality sound-absorbing doors can significantly reduce road noise. We soundproof the front and back doors in a total of 4 layers, as this is an area heavily burdened by vibrations and noise. We also thoroughly soundproofed the front and rear wheel arches. In this car, instead of the classic plastic wheel arches, the wheel arches are made of textile. That's why we soundproof the metal part of the undercarriage with two layers. The first layer is an anti-vibration material from the Premium series with a thickness of 4 mm, and as a second layer we apply the Blockshot soundproofing material, also from the Premium model series. Thanks to its composition and unique anti-noise membrane, Blockshot is able to reduce noise by up to 32 dB and will demonstrate its capabilities on the front and rear undercarriages of this car. Although we only carried out basic noise reduction, thanks to the top-quality Comfortmat membrane materials, we managed to significantly reduce the noise in the car's interior. Installing the sound deadening in this car was more time consuming than usual due to the presence of the retracting mechanism that we had to remove and all the windows had to be removed as well.View products >Hide products >
