The JL Audio MAX™ is a professional dual FFT measurement system with five microphones. It is ideal for general audio system measurements, DSP system tuning, device troubleshooting and testing, and OEM integration troubleshooting. MAX™ has countless applications for home, automotive, marine and professional sound systems. With full integration of VXi and MVi DSP controls, MAX™ simplifies your measurement setup, allowing you to perform measurements and DSP adjustments using one computer and one TüN® 4.0 software application, featuring micro-automators that speed up EQ and channel delay settings.

Test, troubleshoot and analyze any audio system with full details on the three dimensions of sound: level, frequency and time... all in real time!
Simplify the tuning of in-car DSP products in a real environment. Simply connect the hardware, position the microphone array, launch the TüN® software and tune.
Quickly test the home audio and home theater subwoofer placement space modes and fine-tune the crossover and phase controls for a seamless transition to the subwoofer.
Evaluate individual or multiple sound zones in a marine installation for frequency response and level.
Get the most accurate measurements possible with 5-microphone averaging! MAX™ multiplexes up to five included microphones to perform individual FFT measurements of level and frequency response (RTA and spectrograph).
Perform dual FFT measurements of up to five simultaneous transfer functions with accurate display of magnitude (frequency response), phase, impulse response (delay) and coherence (noise immunity).
Each transfer function captures all audio data for real-time or benchmark analysis.

Powerful automation with JL Audio VXi and MVi amplifiers:

The Automatic True Delay function sets the delay of VXi/MVi channels in a flash, much more accurately than any other method.
The Autoset EQ function sets the VXi/MVi parametric EQ to your selected target in seconds. You can also overlay the VXi/MVi EQ controls over the frequency response display to make precise, manual EQ adjustments with real-time visual feedback.
