Kia Ceed - noise reduction and new sound system with DSP processor

Noise reduction and sound system of the Kia Ceed car of the third generation. The owner, as a demanding music lover, wanted to significantly improve the sound system of his car. Considering the client's requirements and the chosen budget, we chose speakers from the Israeli sound masters Morel, which practically always offer an unrivaled sound experience in their price category. In order to make maximum use of the potential of Morel speakers from the Tempo Ultra model series, we also installed an eight-channel Audison amplifier with an integrated DSP processor, which is proud of the designation "Best Product" in its category from the recognized organization EISA. We set crossovers, filters, time corrections, steepness and a detailed equalizer on the processor and finally, together with the owner, we tuned the sound according to his preferences. In order to be able to fully enjoy the new sound system on long journeys, it was necessary to thoroughly soundproof the car. The popular Korean model is practical, comfortable and stylish. However, it is noisy. Compared to the previous generation, there has been some improvement, especially in the area of vibration protection, which you can see on the floor and at points on the rear undercarriages and the bottom of the trunk, but of course it is completely insufficient. The car thus suffers from relatively significant noise penetrating through the front and rear wheel arches, the doors and the floor. We soundproofed all and other areas with top anti-vibration and sound insulation materials from the Russian manufacturer SGM from the top Prime series, which guarantees the most effective soundproofing today. So we focused on all the essential areas of the car, namely the front, rear and fifth doors, the floor, the luggage compartment including the rear fenders, the hood and the front fenders. SGM materials also have a thermal insulation function, which you can use both in winter and in summer. At the same time, three of our technicians are working on the soundproofing, and they can complete the installation within 1 working day.
