Ceramic wax can be combined with your favorite wax!

Common waxes (both natural and synthetic) contain polishing oils that increase shine and deepen dark colors. In this, it surpasses hybrid ceramic technology. Therefore, if you require the maximum strengthening of the gloss and the depth of the paint, use a regular wax from the Deep Crystal, Gold Class, NXT, Mirror Bright or Ultimate series. Hybrid ceramic technology excels in its durability, resistance and hydrophobicity, but does not enhance the shine like traditional waxes. If you want to get the most out of both technologies, wax your paint first with a traditional wax to maximize the shine and depth of the paint, and then apply a hybrid ceramic wax for maximum protection and hydrophobicity.

For washing, we recommend using shampoos without wax additives!

When washing with car shampoo containing wax, you can temporarily cover the hybrid ceramic wax on your car with the wax contained in the shampoo. These admixtures have a lower hydrophobicity, so coating the hybrid ceramic wax with these admixtures can lead to a temporary reduction in hydrophobicity. After a time, when the wax additives supplied by the car shampoo evaporate again, the hybrid ceramic wax is revealed again, which has a higher hydrophobicity, and this effect is maximized again. However, this phenomenon does not reduce the quality or properties of the hybrid ceramic protection in any way. If you want to avoid a temporary decrease in hydrophobicity due to covering the hybrid ceramic wax with ordinary waxes, we recommend using a wax-free car shampoo for washing, such as Gold Class Shampoo & Conditioner or professional Shampoo Plus. These shampoos do not contain additives that would temporarily cover the hybrid ceramic wax, thus maintaining its hydrophobicity permanently at a maximum level.

Procedure for manual application of Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Liquid Wax

• Work on a body that is in the shade and cool to the touch.
• Apply a dime-sized amount of product to the foam applicator and rub it completely into the applicator to moisten the surface.
• Then add a drop the size of a cherry stone and apply to the surface.
• Work in circular motions and let the applicator slide over the surface without any pressure.
• Apply a very thin matte film, visible against light.
• Add 1-2 cherry pit size drops of hybrid ceramic wax only when needed - if you do not apply a sufficient, thin layer of wax with the applicator as at the beginning of the work.
• A larger layer of hybrid ceramic wax does not increase protection! If you use too much wax, it will be more difficult to wipe off and you will use up the pack sooner!
• Let the wax dry on the surface for 3-5 minutes (depending on the ambient conditions in which you are working - temperature, humidity).
• After the wax dries, lightly wipe with a microfiber towel X1801 Meguiar's Finishing Towel , X2010 Meguiar's Supreme Shine Microfiber Towel orE101 Meguiar's Ultimate Microfiber Towel .
• Note: Hybrid ceramic wax does not whiten when drying like traditional waxes and does not leave white spots on plastic and rubber strips.

Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Liquid Wax Machine Application Procedure

• Work on a body that is in the shade and cool to the touch.
• Use a black foam disc ( G3509 for DA Power System or DFF5 or DFF6 for DA polish).
• Apply 3-4 cherry pit size drops to the disc and rub it completely into the disc to moisten its surface.
• Then add a drop the size of a cherry stone and apply the hybrid ceramic wax to the surface.
• Work at a low speed (max 1200 RPM on the drill, set the speed to 3800 OPM on the DA polisher).
• Completely without pressure, cover the entire surface of the bodywork with a thin matte film with wax.
• Add wax 1-2 drops the size of a cherry stone only if necessary - if you do not apply a sufficiently thin layer of wax with the wheel as at the beginning of the work.
• A larger layer of hybrid ceramic wax does not increase protection! If you use too much wax, it will be more difficult to wipe off and you will use up the pack sooner!
• Let the hybrid ceramic wax dry on the surface for 3-5 minutes (depending on the ambient conditions in which you are working - temperature, humidity).

Tips for using Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Liquid Wax

• Suitable for: paintwork, plastics, lights, rubber moldings, metal parts and all other exterior surfaces except glass. If you want to indulge in the effect of "liquid wipers", we recommend applying G8504 Meguiar's Perfect Clarity Glass Sealant .
• For washing, we recommend using shampoos without wax additives to maintain maximum hydrophobicity.
• Ceramic wax can be combined with your favorite wax!
• The body should be cool to the touch and in the shade.
• The paint surface should be clean and dry. If necessary, decontaminate the paint surface with Meguiar's clay - this will achieve a glass-smooth paint surface on which the protective layer will last longer.
• If necessary, remove paint defects (scratches, stains, oxidation, etc.) and achieve maximum shine with one of our effective and gentle Meguiar's polishes.
• Use only a very small amount - the larger the layer of wax, the more difficult the wiping and the faster the consumption. Larger quantities will not increase protection!
• Waxes from the most advanced Ultimate series do not leave white spots on plastics and rubber!

Paint protection tips

• The body should be cool to the touch and in the shade.
• The paint surface should be clean and dry. If necessary, decontaminate the paint surface with Meguiar's clay - this will achieve a glass-smooth paint surface on which the protective layer will last longer.
• If necessary, remove paint defects (scratches, stains, oxidation, etc.) and achieve maximum shine with one of our effective and gentle   Meguiar's polish.
• Use only a very small amount. Larger quantities will not increase protection!
• The durability of the protective layer and the effect of repelling or beading water (the so-called hydrophobic effect) can be significantly extended by regular use of Meguiar's shampoos. Using Meguiar's detailers will give you the best maintenance between regular washes.
• Do not use aggressive and detergent products, degreasers (typically dishwashing detergents, etc.) or active cleaners and foams to wash the car - these products are not gentle on the protective layer and significantly weaken it. The result will be a dried, exposed paint that begins to degrade very quickly on the surface and is easy to damage mechanically and chemically, until you protect the paint again with a new layer of wax or other suitable protection.
• For added protection, use Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Wax (768ml)   in a sprayer.
