Seat Leon - new sound system + soundproofing of the floor and doors

We installed a new sound system in the fourth generation Seat Leon and on that occasion we also soundproofed the floor and all the doors. If you are worried about the noise from the front tires and the road, the optimal solution is to completely soundproof the floor. We get to a much larger area and at the same time it is true that the floor and luggage compartment is the source of the largest amount of noise in the entire car. The luggage compartment of this car has already been soundproofed before, so now the floor, bottom of the trunk and wheel arches are completely covered. As part of replacing the speakers, we also soundproofed all the doors. As for the new sound system, we installed Hertz speakers from the second highest Mille Pro series in the front and rear doors, which impress with their top-notch sound, high performance and excellent workmanship. In order to use the potential of these great speakers, we connected them to a five-channel amplifier from the Italian manufacturer Audison. It also supplies power to the compact subwoofer of the same manufacturer, which we placed in the luggage compartment.
