Soundproofing of the floor and luggage compartment of the Škoda Yeti vehicle. If the noise from the front and rear tires bothers you, you practically have two options. The first, cheaper and less effective option is the soundproofing of the front and rear wheel arches from the outside. However, it is much more effective to soundproof the entire floor and the luggage compartment from the inside. You get a much larger area, and at the same time, the floor and bottom of the luggage compartment are the source of the largest amount of noise in the entire car. We soundproofed both important areas with two layers of top-quality anti-vibration and sound-insulating materials from the Russian manufacturer SGM. The result of noise reduction is a significant reduction of noise not only from the front and rear wheels, but also from the noise reflected from the road.
