Toyota RAV 4 - affordable sound system with DSP processor

Toyota RAV 4 and new sound system. With this installation, we would like to show that even very high-quality sound systems using a DSP processor can be purchased at an affordable price. With the correct selection of components, appropriate location of the speakers and professional sound settings, "affordable sound quality" can be achieved in almost any car. Three important components are enough for this - high-quality speakers, an amplifier with a DSP processor and an equally high-quality subwoofer. And, of course, an experienced technician who will take care of measuring the frequency response of the speakers followed by sound settings in the DSP processor program. For this installation, we chose Audible Physics component loudspeakers from the entry-level Tandav series, which represents an imaginary entry into the audiophile world of this top speaker manufacturer. The advanced sound you'd expect from much more expensive speakers is the foundation of this new sound system. The recognized tweeters on the dashboard also contribute to its quality, which enables a practically perfect location and an optimal sound stage. We connected the speakers in active mode to a five-channel amplifier Awave, which belongs to the portfolio of the traditional Italian manufacturer Steg. And there is also a compact subwoofer from the same manufacturer, which we placed in the luggage compartment. At the end of the installation, it was time to measure and adjust the sound on the DSP processor. The JL Audio Max professional measurement system with 5 microphones helps us to do this, which will allow us to measure all the shortcomings and obstacles in the sound in the interior of the given car. We then set the measured results in the DSP processor program, fine-tune the sound in detail according to our preferences, and then we have the final adjustment with our client. The result of such an installation is, at the given price, possibly surprisingly high-quality sound adapted not only to the listener, but also, of course, to this particular car.
